Night of the Dancing Dead
Zombies find Thrills in Huntington Beach
Dancers from Huntington Beach High School's performing arts program
led dozens of community Zombies in four performances of Michael
Jackson's "Thriller" as part of the monthly Art Walk. Hundreds of
spectators eager to see the ghastly clad performers gathered along Main
St to view the spectacle. This was the first dance performance since the
inception of the Art Walk and due to the success it will not be the last!

The Downtown
Art Walk features emerging artists and student artists with unique and unusual
presentations that have even included mannequins and military art at host
locations throughout the downtown. Open free to the public, this non-juried art
show features artist displays in restaurants and stores throughout downtown
Huntington Beach. You are invited to attend and enjoy meeting the artists
first-hand. Most works are available for sale.
The Art Walk has become an exciting feature in Huntington Beach’s colorful
downtown, stretching from the Art Center and branch Library at the northern end
of Main Street down to the businesses in the first block and over to the Strand
on Fifth Street. From poets to painters, photographers to sculptors, the Art
Walk offers guests an entertaining evening of exploring art and ambiance in
Huntington Beach. The Art Walk is held each month on the third Wednesday.
